Emergency Lockouts

I am locked out of my condo. What should I do?

First, check if your condo building has a management office or juristic person that might have a spare key. If not, call us. Do not try to force the door open - you will likely damage both the lock and the door frame, making the situation more expensive to resolve.

Do you charge more at night or on weekends?

No. Our lockout service is the same price regardless of time. Lockouts are emergencies and we do not believe in surge pricing when people are in distress.

Lock Changes

When should I change my locks?

Change your locks when: you move into a new home or condo (you do not know who has copies), after a break-in or attempted break-in, if you have lost your keys, after a relationship breakup where the other person had keys, or if your locks are old and worn.

What type of lock should I get?

For condos, a high-security deadbolt or digital lock is recommended. For houses, a multi-point locking system provides the best security. We can assess your door and recommend the most appropriate lock for your security needs and budget.

Digital Locks

Are digital locks better than traditional locks?

Digital locks offer convenience (no keys to lose, multiple access codes, auto-locking) and are excellent for condos and rental properties. However, they require batteries and can occasionally malfunction. We recommend a digital lock with a physical key backup for the best of both worlds.
